Quick Answer
How does an online dice roller work?
// Answer
Choose how many dice and how many sides each has (written as 2d6 for two six-sided dice). The roller generates a secure random number from 1 to the number of sides for each die, shows the individual results, and adds them up.
Why use this tool
For games and decisions
Lost your dice? Need a D20 for Dungeons & Dragons or a D100 for a percentile roll? This roller handles any combination, uses fair secure randomness, and shows every die so play stays transparent.
